This program is designed for two types of organisations. The first is an organisation which has no properly documented safety management system and who wishes to take advantage of our pre-existing intellectual property and resources to put a system in place. The second type of client already has a system but requires periodic, third party support to verify system compliance and to provide advice on how to continuously improve it.
The National Workplace Safety Program is based on six key elements:
- Management Responsibility
- Consultation
- Risk Management
- Training
- Records Management
- Injury Management
The Program offers full support, from system development (policies, procedures, checklists and forms), implementation assistance (risk assessments, training, workshops, mentoring, telephone and onsite advice) through to certification audits (inclusive of report and continuous improvement corrective action plans).
It is designed to promote and gradually create a tailored, safety management system with annual recognition audits to verify ongoing compliance and improvement.
